Weekly Observations: 2011 Week 52 and 2012 Week 1
With last weekend being the new year, I did not have a chance to post anything. So, I have combined last week’s news with this week’s for another double-article.
It strikes me as odd that one of my local radio stations played Christmas music through nearly the entirety of Advent, but stops immediately after the first day of Christmas. The could at least play "The Twelve Days of Christmas" a few times each day.
Why is it so difficult to find music from Anime series for legal download? Look companies, I am trying to give you money; why won’t you take it?
Speaking of entities that do not want my money, the last version of Boxee for HTPC has been released. More details may be found in my article.
I learned from NPR that apparently there is a band in Canada named "The Tea Party" that has been receiving requests of millions of dollars for their teaparty.com site.
And to finish out on some great news, it appears that the free mash-up album Best of Bootie 2011 has been released. Don’t forget to download the bonus tracks as well.
